street slayer twin clutch

My car is a weekend toy and not my daily driver buy would like it to be as my Saab 9-7x doesn't get the greatest gas mileage. So will this clutch make the car more enjoyable to drive vs. the stock clutch, I tend you drive the car like an old man and slip the clutch on starts. I've driven my buddy's 06 gto with a z06 clutch in it and it was a dream to drive, so much more easier to drive no cammed car feeling and he was making about the same power as I. I'm just trying to get some feedback from some of you guys running this clutch.

Get the IdealG clutch master cylinder and the Tick stainless clutch line, it fixed all my shifting problems for me. The car feels like it should now.

your clutch is the ZO6 clutch. But anywho I love my street slayer although my car is no longer a daily driver I do occasionally take it to work and sit in traffic with no issues and slip it very frequently. How long it will last... that I can't say but I currently have about 2500 miles on it

I got the street slayer twin installed along with a new slave and ideal's master cylinder. So far the clutch feels great and engages very smoothly. The pedal is I'd say 40% stiffer, the engage point is much higher which I love, and putting it into gear isn't as notchy. I haven't really got on it yet, gonna give it some break in time.

I hear a slight chatter while idle but goes away when clutch is pushed or while in a gear. Then again I've always had a chatter, I've always been able to hear the chatter kinda crank down when I shut off the engine too, might be from the cam but it's barely noticeable though. I now hear a feint squeak noise when I push down on the pedal, but it sounds like its my actual pedal kinda, perhaps it's from the stiffer pedal. I've read a lot of people loving their street slayer clutches and you could add me to the list.

My shop charged me $350 for install but added an hour shop time for slave and master cylinder putting me at $440. They said there were a few extra steps to installing this clutch not sure what though. With the royal purple and super blue fluids put me at a total of $510 for install. I recommend this clutch!

I hear a chatter noise as well when idling unless I push the clutch pedal in. I was thinking it may be where I had to modify the slave for the new throw out bearing. Other than that, I love the clutch.

Interesting mine makes a slight chatter noise when the clutch is depressed but if it is released it's silent. Which is the same way my Ram twin disc was on my GTO but the RAM was WAY louder.

There has been no audible niose in the ones i have tested, but i do seem to recall a faint squeal on the first one and it was traced to the slave we moded,we left a lil material but it wore away and was fine. With all the other installs we had the system down pat and have no noise

Put my order in on Monday morning. Looks like I have a new winter project, I might wait until my garage is built with a lift in it.
