1st Camaro ever!

Didn't see a welcome thread and just wanted to say how excited I am after purchasing my 1st ever Camaro

Previously I had an '08 Scion TC and after hitting 100k miles, I knew I was due for something new. I probably should have chosen more of an economy car as per my wifes suggestion, but who really listens to their wife.

I'd say the only real problem I will have driving so much(25k/yr) would be the paint fading on the front bumper. This started to happen slowly on my TC and I washed and waxed regularly with this car. Here in NY the city highways can be pretty rough on your car, so fading/chipping is inevitable unless I invest in a clear bra. Not even sure this is an option being such a new car?

Either way this won't ruin my experience with this awesome car.

Clear bra is most certainly an option should you choose so. There are probably guys in your area that can point you in direction of a good installer. Check out your regional forums.

Congrats on your car!

kostnkost, well there is a NEW MEMBERS WELCOME SECTION, its at the very bottom of the section listings, but no need to post there now! lol on and btw.....CONGRATS on the new ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!
