Camaro's are no the only Neo-Muscle Car with wheel weight issues...

Just found this on Jalopnik. Mustang has about 3 times as much weighted crap glued on their wheels than the Camaro... Lovely

California banned lead weights. Interesting. Since the metal they're now having to use is likely not as heavy, they probably have to use more weights than they would've in the past. Stupid California.

I thought the wheel weight issues for the Camaro was on the front brake calipers. Am I missing something?

Some also have a long string of weights on the wheel like the pictured mustang does. Bigger wheels = more potential for off balance. No lead = more weights needed to offset.

Actually, the new weights that they have come out with are not metal, they are some kind of synthetic material, 3m makes it and it comes in a roll. Toyota was the first to use these new weights and it weighs about the same as lead

Wasn't that posted by a member here of their own car? I don't get what the big deal is for either car.

It isn't a big deal. It's fanboy ribbing at this point with those here that feel the need to compensate pointing out the "Oh lookie, the Mustang has weights.."

Well so does my 2001 Explorer. So does my pop's '04 Silverado 2500HD..

And your point is..? Good lord.
