Thread Bump Limit

Noticed today there is now a thread bump limit? What are the criteria on this?

Only bumped 5 posts and am now locked out. Not sure the point of being a Gold Sponsor as opposed to a Silver Sponsor now.

I am with you on this one. There were member questions and remarks I couldn't respond to yesterday. Some info would be nice since we pay more money to be gold sponsors which is supposed to include unlimited access.

If we were tirerack we would even get promotion posts....but were not and not sure the answer either. Would be great to have a vendor only section where we could ask questions to make sure we interpet rules corrctly and can get clarification when were not sure on rules, etc. Just some way to have a dialog as I think we are their customers. Would save alot of violations and confusion if we were allowed to ask questions and get answers.

Why not just make up a regular post? That would "bump" it up and accomplish the same thing...???????

Precisely.

This includes regular posts as well as bumping posts. If a vendor posts in the vendor section more than a certain number of times, they are shut out.

Its been 24 hours since we made 5 threads on our own Sponsor Posts and we are still locked out. How are these new restrictions supposed to benefit the customers and sponsors?

Are we supposed to make fake accounts to bump our own sponsor pots? We are unable to address customer questions even after 24 hours.

Tran? Moderators? Anyone running this forum with knowledge on this issue please respond?

The limit is now 6 responses daily (bumps or legitimate replies) in response to the bumping competition many sponsors engage in.

This provides a better classifieds experience for all. Contrary to what some sponsors might think, having a classifieds full of mindless bumps just turns off users and reduces traffic to the classifieds section.

If you're having issues with reaching 6 bumps/responses a day, please be patient as any issues will be resolved by the end of this weekend.

Customer questions may be answered via PM as well, without limit.

And the point of Golf over Silver is that Gold can advertise and sell unlimited items, while Silver may only sell 3 products (as explained in the sponsor rules). Thank you.
