Private Msg. Spammed?....

I have gotten about 3-4 private messages in my mailbox here for the "new aluminum paddle shifters". Not sure why, I did happen to look over the link, maybe they have a way to trace back who visited that forum thread, but please...................STOP. If I wanted them, I would order them or make them myself.

Thank you.

Nope it doesnt just doesnt happen to new people. even the old people. it happens to me all the time. Best thing to do is A) report them B) tell them to stop.

if they dont stop keep reporting them until they get banned.

I remember the original thread telling all about those "paddles", the guy was trying to get a feel as to people who would be interested in buying them. Something about needing at least a 100 interested people, that's the minimum number of paddles he makes at one time.

I remember it being in the form of a survey. You had 3 choices, YES I would buy, NO I wouldn't buy, and MAYBE I'd buy.

I get those private messages too, I don't consider them spam, because if I remember right, I checked the MAYBE box on the survey. In his defense, all he's doing is "following up" on the people that checked the YES or MAYBE boxes.

Are you sure you didn't check either the YES or MAYBE box on the survey?

PS: I think they are a great idea, and look really nice, but I've had my Caramo a year now and have only tried the paddle shifter one time and didn't like it. So, the $99 he wants for them was too much for the use I'd give them.

Is there a reason you posted a picture of your car? I can't see the paddle shifters in the photo..

Thank you.

did you reply to the PM that you did not want them? Does a few PM's from one seller who's thread you state you visited constitite Spam?

as posters stated, I would guess you answered or posted somewhere as this does not appear to be a general complaint.

I would say, out of respect as you quoted, you should at least of given the person the benefit of the doubt and stated your wishes through a reply to the PM before you started blasting him in threads.....

Unsolicited spam messages are absolutely prohibited.

There is a report PM function when you read your PMs. Please make use of it should you be receiving such spam.

WARNING TO ALL VENDORS: sending unsolicited commercial PMs is a serious violation of the terms of your sponsorship and grounds for immediate sponsorship termination.
