Pre-Installed Interior Lighting Upgrade Package

A good friend of mine is writing a proposal for his graduate-level marketing class about auto manufacturers offering bright LED lights to replace common incandescent bulbs as an upgrade package. These lights can be installed at the factory or installed by the dealer before or after delivery. He is narrowing the paper to the interior cabin lights (no externals or instrument lights).

In this scenario:
-No research or purchasing from online sources - they arrive factory/dealer installed
-Durable, high-quality devices that are guaranteed with a lifetime warranty
-Choose pure white or one of a range of colors

Those who have bought cheap lights on eBay would appreciate the warranty. What is a fair price for such a light upgrade?

When you say package, do you only mean the door panel and floor lights?

Yeah, I know. Very cool to mod, too - but I wouldn't trust it as a dealer installed option...

Actually, this should be applied to any vehicle, not just the Camaro. This could be dome, footwell, map, or other lighting within the vehicle which is normally stocked with incandescent/halogen lamps.

That and look how much the GM footwell lighting costs compared to doing it with AACs stuff.

Factory I would say $30 at most. LEDs are extremely cheap even for high quality ones. I got a set 5 5050 LED dome lights for 4 dollars and haven't failed yet

AS far I am concerned, YES. It has six different settings, 1. Low Blue, 2. High Blue, 3. Low Red, 4. High Red, 5. Varies thru the 4 different settings, and 6. OFF.
