Current investment in ordered Camaro

I placed an order for a camaro on the 18th for $500. The following tuesday i paid an extra $2000 down so I won't spend it and keeps me active with my dealer. I was planning on putting about 500-$1000 down every other week to slowly bring cost down. With the government movement into GM, should I be at all concerned? We'll still get our camaro exactly as we ordered it won't we and if it does change, will I be able to get a full refund of all my down payments? I was planning on putting another $1000 this coming tuesday.

well do you have some kind of receipt that says what you ordered? cuz unless you have documentation, you can prove nothing.

I'd be worried about is the Dealership closing. If I were you though, I would be putting that money in a credit union account, the money's safe and you make a little interest while you wait.

Hopefully Nancy SoSucky doesn't have her way and get V8s banned before i get mine!
