New guy here waiting for his camaro
So i figure i should say hi to you guys and girls.
I from Barnesville pennsylvania and i am buying a 2013 Camaro 1LS i just love the look and feel of the car. plus 323hp & 30mpg is so cool. Not getting a SS because its going to be a everyday car. plus i want a corvette c6 down the road. I was luckly enough to be the first in my area to drive a new camaro. The first one was a black dealer demo car and then red 2SS camaro in may 2009. It the dealers own personal car. and was hooked since. But quit selling cars because it was a working joke. |

So, you're waiting until Summer to get it? Because the 2013s aren't out to AT LEAST then?
And FYI...an SS can be an everyday car lol Enjoy :-)

I wasn't questioning your choices, I was just saying that the SS can also be a DD. Having the V6 doesn't make it any more a DD than the V8. Except a little easier on gas lol

That's probably exactly why he's going for it. Which is a good decision! My 2SS is my DD and I still get decent mileage. I gotta admit that the V6 gets incredible gas mileage when you think about it. 323bhp and 30mpg is a good combo! Plus you get the awesome looks of a camaro!

gobbs_stopper, Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wive's, husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

I average 20-21 mpgs on my v6, car has 9500 miles. 80 miles round trip commute three times a week, and a lot of town driving. Idling to warm up or at the gas station is brutal on the mpgs.

Yes my LS gets about 17-25 MPG, ONLY if I feather it on the highway will it ever get above 27MPG. So, be prepared for that
