Have you driven a Ford Lately?

Jeremy Clarkson has....and I was laughing the whole time. For two reasons:

1: It's a Ford

2: Jeremy Clarkson bashed the Z06...I wonder if he's reconsidering...

At least they were nice enough to give him a FOCUS DIESEL as a loaner!!!!!!

Are you kidding me? If I paid that much and waited two years for a car and I had that many problems I would make them give me my money back just for loaning me a FOCUS.

I love Top Gear, especially how Clarkson gets in trouble because of his big mouth

It'll be intresting when the new Camaro comes out to see what they have to say about it. If there's any justive Hammond will do the review since he seems the be only one who likes the American muscle cars.

I was waiting for someone on the other side of the atlantic to ask that What he means his is that he's going to to rid their dog of the dogs bones (as in skeleton), not...well, something else.

Ah I love odd British phrases. I'm taking a seminar with Sir Roger Bannister right now, and every time we meet he teaches us some new British expressions and we teach him Americanisms. Each side is equally amused at the other.

What a relief, that makes about as much sense as any other British saying. I was wonder what sort of a threat the other meaning is . . .

Depends on how much you like your dog.

Top Gear is the number one reason to like living in the UK. Out of a list of 1.

Shouldn't he have said de-bone? That would have made a little more sense to me, but still sound awkwardly wrong.

Sorta like "skinning" an animal...you don't "de-skin" it....

:pUnfortunately...or maybe fortunately, I've managed to pick up on the UK lingo...don't ask me how, or where. I have no idea, but when he said "bone your dog" it only took me a split second to realize he wasn't gonna........

I think that's why I have such an appreciation for Top Gear...that, and I don't think that any American equivilant can quite measure up to it...IMO

He makes references to it not having bones a few seconds afterwards. It's not hard to pick up the lingo if they're explaining it...
