Are you asking if you can put the front ss emblem in place of the front bowtie? Doesn't make sense.

if your asking will your ss emblem in your grill replace your bowtie in your grill thats a no. But u can remove the bowtie and have a ss emblem installed there they do make one. It will look like the red camaro in the above pic lol!!

thanks for the reply. i love the look of the old school
ss on models i've seen around town. the bowtie is
inset to the front grill so i wasn't sure if the ss emblem
(not the small red one by the blinker) would fill the inset.

i had a 70 ss396 chevelle years ago and still dig the large
SS on the front!

thanks everyone. j-rod-210, i like the 6.2 badge. my plan
was to replace the nose with the ss and the small ss on
front with rs. if anyone has a pic of this i'd love to see it.

I was going to go with that lading pad from SLP, but instead i just went with the drakes bowtie delete, and now moved to the heritage grill. I like the really old school SS with the bracketry offered for the heritage grill way more than the SLP one shown above. What changed my mind about keeping the stock grill was that even with the bowtie delete it did not look clean enough. Just something to think about. The lading pad/SS logo is DEFINITELY the more popular and more cost effective way. Heres the one I'm talking about-
