Amazing car. Great driving, but I agree he seemed to let up in the last straight section. However 7 minutes and 26.4 seconds on street tires is a fantastic time.

That was a GM engineer driving also. An professional race driver (I don't remember his name) drove the car a few months later and knocked 2 more seconds off that time.

hes driving a car that will do 200+ MPH why is he only going 178 MPH in the last straight away??? Either way that is an amazing car

I grinned at the part where he came into a corner too fast and he broke traction. After correcting, you see him hit the steering wheel with his right hand like he was saying "dammit!"
