New to Domestics

Hello everyone. Im Joseph and I just got my new 2012 2SS RS 6spd Camaro this week. Im from San Antonio Texas. Im new to the domestic muscle car market as i have only driven import sports cars my whole life. I have been a Nissan Z enthusiast for a very long time and just traded my 2011 370Z for my new camaro. I went to test drive the new mustang 5.0 and SS camaro just to see what the difference would be like. didnt like the mustang at all but completely fell in love with the ss. short time later I was signing on the dotted line. anyways, I dont know much about american performance brands and what the best modifications for power are to cars like these so I will be doing what I can to read up on what I can do to this beast to get it some more horses. the first thing I gotta do though is replace that shifter and knob. the stock one is terrible! the hurst shift kit looks good to me but I will be doing more shopping around to see what else is out there first. anyways, thanks for having me and I look forward to hearing from you all and taking in some much needed advise!

Joseph, CONGRATS on the new ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.
