CAMARO5 members "United" for a ZL1 cause - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I know I can't be the only one to have thought this out in their head. So we are @ 55,000 members give or take a few right? And the ZL1's M.S.R.P. is @ $54,995.00 right? If every member "donated" a dollar to me personally, then I would be able to purchase a ZL1 no problem right? So I say let's "pay it forward" and do this!! I will officially make it "the" Camaro5 family ride!! I know it sounds crazy, but can you imagine the "buzz" and exposure we could create Nationally? I would purchase the vehicle through Becky D @ Rodgers Chevrolet who a ton of us know and love, and is a sponsor of the site, and "donate" my 2SS to another lucky member who may be in need due to extenuating circumstances. What do you say?

sounds really nice but their are other members who cant buy a ZL1 also and that would be unfair to them too don't you think? wouldn't a raffle or a poll of members that cant afford the ZL1 sound more fair where the C5 family can choose freely who they see can recieve the donation of a $1 and when the raffle or poll is done and the $1 donations are given to the member, if the winning member has a camaro he can donate it to the person who may want a camaro but can't have one which in the case would call for another poll or raffle but only for the ones that don't have a camaro; with that said it would be fair for both sides don't you think?

That's a great idea...with a twist...

How about @ Camaro5-Fest we have a draw for a ZL1, assuming 55,000 people pre-purchase a $1.00 raffle ticket, or 55,000 $1.00 tickets are sold? Or 5,500 tickets are sold @ $10 apiece...?

"Winner Take All"!

OR...

We have a Camaro5 Charity Raffle for a ZL1, with profits raised going to a National Charity chosen by the members, here?

...and you HAVE to be a member of camaro5...

Just a thought...remember, I'm not a lawyer...
