This is how I spent my day! Rolex test day at Daytona!

All the Stevenson cars (both GT and GS) looked good! They were all "hooked up" and turning fast lap times. There were several new Boss 302 Mustangs in GT in the test but none that looked all that strong. The #45 "Flying Lizard" Porsche was also fast but had some traction issues off turn 5. Patron Ferrari wasn't all that impressive either! There was a pretty fast Subaru STI in the test that impressed me in the infield section. There were also 5 Audi R8s there too. Not all that fast but they sure look and sound good!

In Daytona Prototype, the Telemex cars were AWESOME! Scott Pruitt is sooo good in traffic that I'd bet my last dollar his team wins the 24 Hour of Daytona on the 29th. Gainsco was fast but Suntrust looked better! They will be strong in the race!

Nah... those are the "Big Boys" out to play! hehe! I plan to do a track day at Daytona this year though.

The first video was of the Daytona Prototypes and the GT cars. This one is the Grand Sport (GS) and the Street Tuner (ST) classes. These are mildly modified street cars. More later....

Did you happen to catch any of the new Corvette DP running? And what was that red thing at the end of you video?

Yep... in the photo album look at the Gainsco 99 and the Suntrust cars. In the video I think the Blue #9 is one as well.

That "thing" was some custom from Detroit "something or other" and said something about IRL on the side. It did have an injected V8 in it.... and a blond! LOL!
