GM bought them some years ago then spun the brand off maybe 2 years ago or so. Not too surprising.

Bankruptcy does not equal death. Someone can still buy the company & do what they like with it, assuming that it gets approved by GM. Odds are, nobody will get approval to take ownership of Saab ... but they aren't exactly dead, yet.

Ironically, the only person I can recall that owned one was an egotistical hotshot snob of a salesman. A real legend in his own mind.
Other than that, never really cared much for the brand.

Have you ever seen one in Arkansas?
