As a life long Cardinals fan, I am ok with this. It was too much for too long and I am proud of our front office for not letting the hype push them into the contract.

I agree, at that price they had to let him go. Angels are trying to win righrt now with the addition of CJ Wilson as well. The pressure is sqaurely on their shoulders now to win.

Angels are dumb! Pujols numbers have been on the decline! St. Louis can win without him
