Ok what discounts are available on a remaining 2011?

I was offered around $26K towards trade for my truck from a couple dealers. I went and saw a friend from a few years back and he said he can sell me a 2SS brand new for $31,200 but they lowballed the shit out of my truck at $22K so I lost interest.

He mentioned around $4500 in discounts, rebates and dealer cash on that car with an MSRP of around $36K or something close to that.

Is there a:

GM loyalty rebate?
Military discount?
USAA Member discount?
Dealer cash?
GM rebate?

He looked us up (My father) and said we were on some kind of GM discount list?

That 2SS is Silver but I am REALLY trying to afford and find a new 2SS/RS in Synergy Green (Had an '05 Jeep Rubicon that color last year and LOVED it)
