in the process of getting my 2010 SS Camaro shipped here....found this baby with only 4k miles on it

i'm a total noob to the new horsepower stuff, so "bare with me"

wheres a good place to start if this was your car? exhaust? cold air?

is this a "LS3" or LS2???

here's some pics and info on my car,....should be here next week

igotswag, CONGRATS on the new ride.....seeing on the price sheet, its a manual tranny, so its a LS3.......oh and btw, Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Igotswag, no your car has an automatic transmission, it's right there on the window sticker sir nuke. So your car having the auto trans has the L99 engine. Nice find 4k is seriously low miles for a 2010. Congrats!!!!

As far as your other question "where do I start with upgrades" oh boy you are going to get a million opinions here, so I'll throw mine out there to get things started. Start by buying NOTHING right now. Drive the car for a few months and get used to it, learn how it handles and how you will be driving it. If you are more into overall performance you may want to start with some suspension upgrades, but if you are into the raw power thing you very well may want to go the headers, exhaust,CAI, tune route. Just remember when you start doing these things you may be messing with your powertrain warranty. Hmmmmm now do you think I followed my own advice when I got my 2010 2SS?, not quite I had the headers,CAI, and tune within 3 weeks of buying it, so take my advice for what it's worth....about $.02

Ohhh... an R6P car... #101484 it looks like (last 6 of your vin) plus it says "Early Order Activity"

that means it was ordered before February 2009. Its something cool to have. Basically your car was the 1484 car off the line.

Nice car, ENJOY and welcome!
