New Guy, New Car

I'm new to the whole Camaro culture, about a month ago I found a sweet triple black 2011 SS1. Test drove it and fell in love. It was slightly used with just over 9K miles on it. Previous owner replaced bowties with blackouts, which I think look great. I plan to do some minor mods to it, nothing major - getting rid of the chrome fog light bezels in favor of black. I'll probably put in a K&N air filter, and eventually upgrade to CAI.

Welcome. If your planning on a CAI don't fork over the $ for a K&N now! I've bought things like that now sitting dormant from new mods!

Thanks for the welcome.

Only reason I'd do filter now, is in case I never get around to adding CAI.

tBowBaggins, CONGRATS on teh Ride......and what a GREAT time to join the club.....considering where yoyur at, and the fact that next years CFest is in your home town......LUCKY YOU!!!! oh and BTW....Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wive's, husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Thanks.

Just finished checking out the details of C5Fest. Awesome that it's 30 minutes from my house.
