Car delimma

So I'm on the hunt for cars. I earlier had started a thread in General about trading up to an SS. Well, I've sat down and looked at my finances and I think I'm going to trade in for something more affordable. Ignoring all that tho. I have 2 cars that I'm looking at.

Car #1 is a 2004 GTO with 74K. Looks gorgeous in the photos with no noticeable flaws. Its got a cam, headers, exhaust, among other goodies. It does however have a rebuilt/salvage title. I'm a little worried about that. Obviously I need to test drive it and get it looked out, however its only 10K.

Car #2 is a 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT SL Spyder. I've been in love with these cars for years and its only $12,995. Pristine condition with only 50K on the odo. Bone stock from what I can tell, but it is a convertable. I know these cars like the back of my hand since i had a regular 95' 3000GT SL for 5 years. Test driving it tomorrow.

Both cars are automatic.

How bad is a salvage title? If everything was completely rebuilt to spec, there shouldn't be an issue right?

I wouldn't touch a car with a salvage title. It could have one for a multitude of reasons including flood damage or frame damage. Even though they seem like great deals the resale value is next to nothing.

If you don't mind me asking about what is your price range including trade in? I bought an 05 g35 with only 20,000 miles last week for 20k and it drives perfect like new.
