I have heard that Colorados are..... less than stellar. Then again, 6K isn't a lot to work with

Buy yourself a Silverado, the 1990's model run of those are solid pickup trucks. I still have and drive my 1991. For the money you have to work with, that would probably be the best bang for your buck.

You can get a nice Jeep for that much spread. It depends on weather or not you want a bed or not.

You're 16 and you're going to have 2 cars?

If you had 10 cars and your 16yrs old... I do not think it should matter. Their is no rule on certain cars for certain ages.

are we talking about selling your camaro and getting you something else? or in additions to? is she or you worried about winter driving??

I had a '06' Ford Ranger with the 3.0L v6....I loved it, got good milage and never needed to do anything to it other than regular maintanence, like oil changes, filter changes, and put gas it it!

You can't get a Colorado for $6k unless A) it has a metric ****ton of miles or B) it's a barebones base stripper 2006 model.

I'd look into a GMT-400 or early GMT-800 Silverado or Sierra.

People like you need to get off the forum and stop starting s**t. What's the point? Jealousy, maybe?

Got one for a daily now and I love it! I'm truly a GM guy at heart, but I like my Ranger more than all of the other GM trucks I've owned over the years. Mine currently just turned 173,000 about a week ago.
