Challenger comming out this spring????

I went on Dodge.com today and went to the Challenger page and in big letters it says Challenger Coming this spring. they have a countdown and it says that the production car will be shown at the Chicago auto show. Guess they don't want to be overshadowed by the camaro at the Detroit Auto show

Look at it this way. Let'em release early, then Chevy will come out with something that tops them ALL.

I'm not at all threatened by the Challenger. It will appeal to a much smaller market than the Camaro, I'm sure of that.

and thats why dodge needs to release it now cus when the camaro comes out, there'll be no competition...lol

Yeah there isn't anything to worry about. The Challenger was always supposed to be release prior to the Camaro as far as I can remember.

We will find out what the production Challenger will look like in a few months at the 2008 Chicago Auto Show.

Nothing to worry about. The only thing it will do is make our waiting that much harder.

If its priced in the same market as the mustang then yea it will be competition... BUT Chances of it hitting that price range is SLIM TO NONE.. believe me I have checked.. Im not a one brand man.. I love all the muscle cars and Im looking to get one.. right now the camaro looks like it offers the best of all the different criteria (style, power, options, ect..) for me..

Personally I would own all three, a mustang, challenger, and camaro.. but thats not feasible .. so when 09 rolls around and I am not throwing cash at college anymore, it will get thrown at the best value muscle car there is.. regardless of brand
