Just broke up with my girlfriend of 2years

Well to some you older guys im sure 2years is nothing. But im 21. She is 19. I Have lost all feelings for her a long time ago. I was to the point where I wasn't even attracted to her anymore. I know she loves me and I feel really bad for what I did. But I don't think its right to keep her around if im not even attracted to her anymore. I know shes crushed. Did I do the right thing?

yeah you did. no point in being with someone you don't love and it's not right to string her along. but if you lost all feelings for her a long time ago then i think you should of broke it off a long time ago...
she's young, she will be ok.

AHH YOUTH! IDK what to say Bro, I had a highschool sweetheart. . . . LOVED her at first sight! Her mom found out about our "secret relationship". She put her in a girls school in an attempt to break us up. We were apart just less than two years, her mom lied to me telling me she hated me for getting her into trouble. I was dating another girl I'd just proposed to and was about to get an apartment with her. My previous GF I'd fell in love with never hated me. As soon as she turned 18 and was able to leave the girls school regardless of how her mother felt, she did. She'd graduated and used her graduation present to drive straight back to Texas to find me. (yes her parents moved to OK to keep her from me, they still live there.) When I saw my beautiful Catalina standing on my doorstep I knew what I had to do, my heart was happy and breaking all at the same time. . . I broke up with Jennifer (a Catalina look alike and sweet girl). She wasn't my love Catalina though, Catalina and I were married soon after and this year is our 20th year wedding anniversary, been together nearly a quarter century!

wow thats crazy. But yeah im sure she will find someone else. And like the one guy said I shouldent drag her along. My friends say the same thing. So hopefully she don't go killing herself

Very cool story, your marriage was meant to be! My hubby and I dated for 11 days before he proposed, we got married 3 months later and have been together for over 30 years! When it's right you know it!

Wow. To be 21 and in "love"again.... if only I knew then what I knew now. I would have saved a hell of alot of frog kissin and just waited til my man showed up, which he finally did when I was a bitter 27. Luckily I still had faith in love and he restored it. 14 years later we are still together.

21 is way too young to decide who to spend the rest of your life with, especially if ya aren't feelin it. You did the right thing, Dude.
