ford is driving me nuts

so about a month ago i returned my ford lease to a chevy dealer--- it was a v6 mustang with a few mods on to it--- chevy said i'll accept ur car and i gave them the buyout price and it was at about 12,300 and they said fine no problemo--- they actually gave me a few hundred extra to put towards my new v6 camaro--- now here comes the nightmare--- chevy is now calling me saying ford is being a complete pain in the ass saying "they will not allow chevy to keep that car nor will they let them buy it from them- they want there car back" so chevy is like w.e we just lost on this deal but we sell 200 cars a month no biggie (thats what they told me) but NOW ford is saying i am going 2 charge for these mods UNLESS they come back and get another ford... (and i have already own my camaro for a month)..so now my dealer said come in thursday and we will talk--- im pretty furious at the moment--- CHEVY should have known they could not accept my car- they accepted it like it was not a big deal at all like they have done this so many times before and acted like it was such an easy process-- now the guy is talking 2 me like ima have 2 pay big fines unless i go back with ford--- do they have any right to take back my camaro? if i refuse 2 pay ford- shouldnt it be there obligation 2 pay for the mods since they traded in my ford for there camaro- they should have KNOWN that it could NOT be done- and should have said something during the deal- if i knew that was the case maybe i woulda just went back with ford-- such bull shit... help please.. thoughts ideas?

Did you hear this directly from Ford or through the Chevy dealer?

First off its out of your hands... A transaction has been made and the damage is done. They can send you a bill however your not obligated to pay them a cent. They should be grateful that the chevy dealership bit the bullet. If they want to fine anyone they can attempt to attack the chevy dealer because technically the last "transaction" that took place was the transfer from the chevy dealer to the ford dealer.

Like Bonanza states threaten with a lawyer and have one on stand by if needed. Its long out of your hands.

im so curious what the hell they are gonna say thursday...and it was not selling a lease car-- chevy accepted my lease car for a 'trade in' for there camaro--- they said it was not a big deal at all-- and that transaction went so smooth and under an hour-- there perspective was get my buy out from ford and send ford a check for what its worth-- and they will sell it on there lot with there mark up
