Ha ha. They are all getting very serious about this stuff. It's not the good old days of I know a tech at a dealer so I'm ok. When it comes to my car, I'm not afraid of GM. I'm afraid of telling my wife we need a stroker short block because my wty is void. Gm puts alot of $$$$$$$ into making a top performers and I don't blame them for voiding warranties, on the other hand it Does put a bad taste in our mouths.

Ouch.

I don't know a whole lot about FI/Power Adding mods so I'm not going to say anything negative (i.e. Ford sucks ect ect) but.... that doesn't look good at all. :/

Poor Ford boys. My buddy's Boss 302 has already been in the shop for excessive knock. He just got it less than a month ago and it has less than 2K km's on it, most of which were from the trip to Winnipeg to get it looked at. Does not fare well for them, but it's good news for GM.

No offense but if you read throughout this forum you will find C5 owners that are already having issues. The possibility remains for any new car to have issues regardless of the manufacturer.

I purchased 2 new vehicles in 1998-1990 and they both sucked, left GM for foreign until 2009 and I have been lucky so far.

Mods are like flushing money down a toilet, if the Camaro isn't fast enough for you guys, buy a Z06 or ZR1. Problem solved!

I like the new 5.0. Not as well as the camaro honestly. But why not have both! I am going to buy a 5.0, the camaro needs a sister!

I disagree, maybe you are perfectly happy with the speed but want the car to be a little bit louder so you add an exhaust. Gives you no more than 30 hp extra, keeps the cost of the car way under the vette still but gives you exactly what you want... however according to ford this would void your warranty

Yeah because clearly no Corvette owner has ever been known to spend a few thousand bucks to mod their cars for more performance.
