Almost lost my dad this weekend
I nearly lost myself when i found out the news via text....damn at@t service......i get a voicemail from my brother saying that my dad was in a motorcycle accident and care flighted to the hospital. Like any normal person i feared the worse and felt powerless to do anything being stuck in Idaho at Mountain Home AFB and busted into tears. It still makes me tear up everytime i think about it. I finally get an update on his condition an hr later; broken ribs all on one side, fractured back, ruptured spleen and "was" bleeding internally, collapsed lung and obviously in alot of pain. My heart sinks the next day to here that his blood levels are low and that the clips from the surgery hadnt stopped all the bleeding. Whoever doesnt think God works wonders this would be the case, in the next 30 mins his levels are back to normal and the surgery to remove his spleen is cancelled. My poor mom who loves my dad to death has to deal with sitting by her husbands death bed on mothers day, not her choice obviously. He is still in the icu fighting and needs your thoughts and prayers, i already lost my grandfather this past Christmas im not strong enough right now to lose my dad either. I will keep you updated on his condition.
