What's with all the Ford commercials?

Anybody else notice the recent deluge of FORD commercials lately? Seems like every time I turn on the TV the "Dirty Jobs" guy's on talking to people about Ford and how much BETTER they are than any other car manufacturer in the world. Didn't they just set some sales record? why so much advertising?

Is this a joke question? but besides that I like the mustang commercial when the guy supposedly dumps his v6 camaro for a v6 mustang because it gets more miles to the gallon.

Is shilling for Ford a "Dirty Job"?

That kind of made me laugh. But lets be honest, people buy the V6 instead of the V8 mostly because of the "practicality" meaning, better MPG, cheaper gas, cheaper maintenance etc... So If you are looking for a sporty car, but don't want the top of the line performance, then MPG matters a lot more. But for a 1MPG difference, I'd be more concerned about looks rather than that 1MPG.

I've noticed far far more Toyota commercials. Just about every online video I watch has a Toyota commercial before it and I cant get that dang Highlander commercial with the parents singing "Just call me angle in the morning song" out of my head.

It's now the only commercial I HAVE to mute.

I do enjoy watching the Mustang one shot in SF, and some of the new Dodge one's.

^ This, plus Chevy seems to have a hand in everything, I am shocked you are concerned about Ford commercials when Chevy has been spending a hell of a lot more trying to shill the volt.
