Who is running an X-Pipe?

How many of y'all are running an X-pipe? Any pros & Cons?
Thanks

Only con I can think of is that I now scratch it going over some speed bumps. It's pretty rare though that it happens.

Sounds like a good place to say this....

I have a full SS catback exhaust with the MagnaFlow tru-x welded in if anyone wants to give me a few bucks for it. Local is prefered and I really dont want to go through the hassle of cutting it out plus it may be tough to reinstall if its cut out. Its a nice piece but I went a different route.

Just putting it out there...

From what venders are stating on C5, the gains from stock H to X is very limited. You are getting your gains from hi flows and dropping those huge tin can mufflers.

I don't think there are any cons that I could address...it does seem (and this could be in my head) the X pipe has a deeper tone than the H.

Pretty much every aftermarket cat back utilizes a X-pipe. In these cars there seems to be very little performance change between the two but they do sound different.

I just had an Edelbrock "X" pipe installed with the GMPP performance mufflers that the dealer put on when I got the car and love the new sound.
Nice to get rid of the resonator boat anchor that was under there.

I just had some work done by Ed Hanson in Spring Valley, Ca. He said he invented the X-Pipe technology. He goes around the country giving presentations on exhausts/mufflers and what not. He showed me a demonstration between the H and X. He put a tissue on one side of the H and blew air on the other side, and the tissue didn't move. He did the same thing with the X and it sucked the tissue out the other end. Convinced me. I went with the x-pipe and Flowmaster 40's on my SS.

I'm running Borla S-Type cat-back that are X pipe. I would NOT change it for the world! All pro's NO con's. Couldn't be happier.
