If you look close, he grabs the guys wrist and then watch his face carefully, he "braces himself for impact" and changes the facial expression early, just before he gets hit. FAIL.

This is one of the reasons I LIKE soccer (if i'm in a bar or taqueria)- it's almost as theatrical as wrestling!

The problem with soccer [besides being invented by europeeing ladies to keep busy while the men cooked] is the field is to dam big.

Most Americans cannot see themselfs running all over that 3mile square field.

Even in football you only move around a few yards cept for a few players.

People cannot see themself doing it and thus are not intrested in it.

Plus the low scores, which Hockey has a problem with too but the fights make up for it. Which is the only thing that keeps soccer going in some countries, folks show up for the drunken riot, they don't care about the game that much.
