Why is there no Detroit Camaro5 car club? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I know there are a lot of Camaro clubs around town, but I have yet to see any 5th Gen only for our area. I just find it funny that there are a ton of them, even in our surrounding region. And with this being the Motor City and all, with so much heritage in the muscle car scene, I just think we need one. I really don't like excluding any Camaro owners based on their particular generation of Camaro that they own, but it would be kind of cool to represent Detroit w/a 5th Generation only club. Why not belong to more than one club I say. So if anyone is interested, let me know and would be willing to try and start something. I have some artistic ability and would be willing to throw out some logos if enough people are seriously interested. Let me know guys!! Represent the "D." Maybe we could even get Kid Rock since he is a proud new Camaro owner LOL!!

Maybe I'm missing something.....you really don't like excluding any camaro owners based on their particuar generation that they own yet, you want to start a club that excludes them? You mentioned heritage so let me remind you of something....if it was not for the heritage and passion of camaro owners of the first four generations.....you would not be driving a fifth gen!

If you read into the post, I also stated why not belong to more than one club. You sound very off-standish. Just chill. I wouldn't be offended if I couldn't get into a particular Camaro club that only allowed let's just say 1st generations.

Sounds good. Keep us in the loop on what you come up with. My summer is busy with my Daughter's travel softball but I plan to make time for my Camaro when it allows.

Due to technical difficulties I can no longer PM. I can no longer communicate. My own fault. Was caught spamming as it was called. Looking to give V6 guys another forum to communicate about our Camaro’s. We have all made up and moved on.

I can provide you a list of fellow GEN 5 people I know in Michigan that you can contact to let them know you are trying to form a club for Michigan 5th GEN folks.
