Weird Dream

So, I had this really vivid dream last night. I haven't really remembered any dreams I've had over the last 25+ years. In fact, the last time i had vivid dreams was when I dreamed I wrecked my car on Sunset Blvd in California, near where I used to live down there. It was vivid enought that I stopped driving that route for a couple of months. The first time I drove again on Sunset I put my 73 Dodge Charge SE under a flat-bed truck that was parked in a no-stopping zone. But that's a story for another time.

Last nights dream is the second dream I've had in a week that occurred in the same "location". I'm wondering what it will predict, if it predicts anything at all.

So here's the dream:

It starts by me driving my Camaro to park near a cove, with a dock. I walk out on the dock towards the other shore (yes, this is strange). The dock is in some heavier "surf" as it approaches the other shore, which has a ladder that leads up the cliff to a house. I enter the house, explore each room. Both times I've had this dream, the layout of the house has been identical, but I've never been in any house like it previously. It has a Kitchen/Dining room, and the dining room has clear glass windows with a 270 degree view of the ocean.

There is a lawn/driveway outside of this room, and a Radio Control truck drives by. Now, I have no idea why I didn't drive my Camaro up this driveway, but I hear a knock on the door. My pants drop for some reason, and I pull them up because it's obviously embarrassing to be going commando. (seriously, I said this was a strange dream).

I answer the door, and it's two kids, who say what an awesome Camaro I have, and offer to wash it.

Dream ends around this point.

Should I be worried?

Just to be clear, I didn't know the kids were there until AFTER that happened!

Sounds like your not gonna be allowed to live near a school here soon

Im the other way, I have inliving color vivid dreams like that all the time.
Some times I can control the story, sometimes not.
Though often still very real feeling and fun.
Sometime I sleep in just to go finish an adventure.

And yes some come true or parts there of as your mind weaves in the things that your thinking about and is able to process a likley outcome from it.

But you don't get dreams like that till your done sleeping, the brain has to defrag nightly and once done, some people get a blank screen and some have a custom screen saver running

The dream about my wreck was very weird, in that it did come true. The totally weird part about that dream was that after I wrecked the car, I was dazed. I did, however, walk across the street to this house with a driveway. I didn't go to the front door. I went around the house to the pool where I knew the owner of the house would be.

I also knew the tow truck driver would want to buy my wheels/tires, and offered to sell them to him.

What sucked is a dream shortly thereafter was one where I drove a car off a cliff. Hasn't come true yet...

It’s the old matrix line about the broken vase.
Would you of still wrecked if you hadn’t of had the dream.

Though seeing over the next hill before you get there isn't anything new to me but its hard to tell if it only happened because you dreamed it.

Maybe this time you should be the car at the end of the group when we cruise (speed ) to Winthrop.

Ha! That's a weird dream. I've had weirder but I usually forget them.

I really HATE when I dream that I'm in a haunted house. It happens often and totally creeps me out sometimes. I'm 33, I shouldn't still have nightmares...

Isn't a vivid dream one during which the dreamer is fully aware he is dreaming and is thus completely in control of all that occurs in the dream? The dreamer is, in effect, the artist of his own subconscious creations, for good or for ill.

During my 56 years I've experienced such dreams less than a hundred times. They are magnificent! If that describes your dream, I bow to you; may you have many more such opportunities to enjoy your humanity to the fullest!
