That bad huh?

I was close this semester and signed up for two, then I saw the syllabus's and dropped them quick. Decided to take classroom lectures instead.

I took them 2 years ago. Its tough when ya have to teach yourself, force yourself to do the work. On the other hand, I just googled 1/2 the answers on the tests. hahahaha

I only take online classes. I love them. Way better than having to drag your ass to a classroom. But, you do have to have some self dicipline.

I love them. I am finishing up my Rank I in Education Leadership. Some of the classes are more demanding, but it sure beats driving to the university.

Unfortunately a lot of younger folk didn't learn that as kids.

I took in class and online classes and found myself procrastinating till the last minute for my online classes. Plus there is always the "scenery" aspect of being in class that is lost with online classes.

Online classes

I have been taking them the last few years to gain my asscoiate degree very soon. I always hated school dropped out of college when I was 22. It's one bad mistake I did when I was younger. Well now I have been working full time since 2006 as a retail supervisor 40 hours a week. I can't make it to classes during the day so I take all of my classes online or I take TCA classes which I do the work and then mail it out thru my instructor via the post office.

Idk about anyone elses, but the one's I'm in are so disorganized and requires you to be such an excellent time manager it's ridiculous! Plus, it just doesn't feel like a class; it's like a forum that actually matters lol. I knew I wouldn't like them, but I had no choice but to take 3 out of my 5 classes this semester online.

And probably has either tenure or some pull with the department. Knew a few like that.. never worth the money as opposed to someone on the bubble or someone who legitimately cares about the subject.

Which I'd say 1 out of every 600 college instructors fall into.

I lucked out with Aviation. If you're teaching it, you can't NOT love it. The only way to suck as a teacher is to actually suck at teaching. Sad to say there was one teacher that fit the bill in the college.

Unfortunately that came at the cost of advanced piston engine knowledge and 600 bucks in cold hard cash.

Online Classes

I absoultely hate the BlackBoard setups in the online classes. At least 3 or 4 times a semester. My computer will just jam up on one of my online classes when I'm taking a test which I already spent 1-2 hours onThen your pretty much screwed till you e-mail your teacher and then they have to reset the test and start all over again:(

What's worse is how the computer is so damn picky about how you word your answer. Like if you put in "3x+4=9" instead of "9=3x+4" it will count it wrong!
