Rim Brush

Can someone suggest me a good brush to clean the deep rims on my ss/rs, I have a decent one, but it gets to be a bit of a pain in the a** when it comes to getting by the brakes, hopefully someone here has something they like and works good.

Thank in advance.

Use a mitt and get your hand in there. It's a pain but it's the best way!

I do that as well, and it works, I was just hoping to lessen my work load, I spray, brush, and mitt, then touch up what I may have missed.

What about applying a wax? Will that help with the brake dust?

I've used the "Best" grade, 1 1/2" paint brush for years with great results. The bristles are soft and flexible enough to get into tight areas. If they're "too" flexible, just trim them down until they work for you.

Before I used it for the first time, I dipped the handle and the metal band in Plasti-Coat to prevent nicks and scratches.

After use, I rinse it well and blow the water out with compressed air.

You should always wax or seal your wheels to keep them protected, but its not going to prevent brake dust. It'll make it harder for the brake dust to stick and make cleaning them easier as it will require less scrubbing to get the contamination off, but its usually just best to get to the root of the cause - THE PADS!

Swap your pads out for a set of ceramics and you won't have any brake dust to deal with.

Amazon has those Daytonas for pretty cheap. That's where I got mine a while ago.
