Photo posting question

I have figured out how to post photos but they are always too big., ie you have to scroll around to see the whole pic. How do I downsize my photos befoer posting them?
Sorry if this is on search. I couldn't find it.

Open them in paint, at the top click on "Image" and go to "Stretch/Skew"

I usually start off putting 50 in both the vertical and horizontal boxes.

Hit okay, and save the file. I usually save the file to a new location so I have a down-sized version and the original is left intact.

If 50% is still too big, try it again with different percentage. Play with it.

you need to get some softwear that allows you to edit your images, and resize them....I don't know what would be best.....I have been using Photoshop for the last 18 years.....you can do pretty much EVERYTHING with it....but its a HUGE program and expensive....there are certasinly some out there that will do what you need that are cheep, or even free. Google search for free photo editing softwear.

here are a few:

If you happen to be using MS Office and specifically Outlook to get your e-mail you can highlight the large pics and then Right click on them and indicate Send To, select Mail Recipient, and the program will give you the option to make the pics smaller for e-mail. Once you have them in a blank e-mail all you need to do is save them to your desktop and those will post just fine.

I get the dumb a-- of the year award

I have Photoshop and use it all the time. I was thinking there might be something in the Camaro5 posting software that would let me do it there. I'll use Photoshop in the future.
Thanks for the advice
