Now I'm not changing it... It's always been a gif, but could never make it move. Anyone know how to make GIF files move like they're supposed to once uploaded as an avatar???

if its a gif, it has to be under the size requirements to move. otherwise it will just show as a pic

no prob. and that might not be the correct answer, but I remember a while back I had a gif for an avatar and it wouldnt move either and IIRC it was because of its size.
