My PC's power supply died and I don't have the $100 to replace that. So I'm rockin on my Macbook. No Mac support. Looks interesting though.

I used to play it then got tired of it after a couple weeks.

It's impossible to go into a game where at least half the players don't hack.

The kick system is crap. It gets way to abused. The people who start the room can kick anybody at will. If you are good, you will never finish a game as everyone else kicks you out.

You can't buy weapons with money you earn in the game, only rent them. In order to get money you first have to finish a game and do good however if you are doing good you get kicked out so you never finish a game to earn money.

In order to get any of the good items, you have to spend real money on. A friend of mine use to play it a lot and was spending $10 a week ($40 a month) just on weapons and armor.

Nexon has gone downhill, in my opinion. I used to play Dark Ages a lot back in 2001-2004 but I quit because I was tired of the way things were going.

Yes, Combat Arms has been around for a while.. and it is by far the best "free" FPS there is.

That would be the main question, can one really play the game for free and have fun without spending a dime. Or the bare min of $5 to get the game on DVD mailed to you.

Thats the new hook in free games, they get you for more on the back end so its cost effective to give it away.

Yes you can play for free and have fun however don't expect to do that good. In order to earn just enough coin to keep renting "ok" weapons you have to play a ton (4-5 hours every day) but you won't have enough coin left over to rent other items such as armor and secondary items other then the 2 grenades you get by default.
