Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit
Anybody else put down a pre-order for Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit??
I personally am excited about this game, as I am a long-time fan of the series. But most importantly, when you pre-order the game, it comes with 2 special cars and 4 cars already unlocked, one of which is the 2010 CAMARO SS. I just wanted to see who else was waiting for this title. If anybody is gonna play it on Playstation Network, my gamer-tag is "grandeos2010" This should keep me occupied until Gran Turismo 5 comes out...

I tried the demo and it's pretty fun, but I'm gonna be occupied with Black Ops

I liked the old NFS games, but I played the demo, and I didn't like it. I'll stick to Forza 3.

Yea, I would have to say that the last few Need for Speed games were pretty disappointing. What has me excited about this game is the fact that the new developers are taking the series back to it's roots. No more free-roaming or bullshit tracks. Back to cop chases and exotic cars. Reminds me of the first 3 NFS games, getting back to basics. I just wish you could drive from the interior like the last game and even the original years ago.
When I played the demo the first time, i didn't like the controls. But as with any racing game, a few more races and I got used to it. Again, it won't be anywhere near as good as GT5, but it should keep me happy till then. I'll definitely be on COD: Black Ops as well. Look forward to playing with you guys.

Hell Yes iv been playing all the NFS for ever i grew up with NFS Hot Pursuit 2 soo im soo ready for this game. Glad they finally went back after pro streeet and shift noone bought need for speed games for raceing i always bought them to run from cops lol
And anyone getting black opps on XBL Pm if you wanna play My social life ends in ( 2 DAYS 10 MINUTES 30 SECONDS )

I played NFS up til Porsche Unleashed, got real good at that, then I played Motor City Online. That was a game way ahead of it's time. No racing game has come close since. I tried a couple of the later NFS titles but they blew chunks. There's an indie developer putting together Motor World Online but it's not even a beta yet. www.motorworldonline.net
