Paypal changes for sellers READ

Make sure your items are correct and put in a 15% restocking fee and note return shipping charges are non-refundable.

Only way your not gonna lose your azz when someone buys an item and didn't read everything correct. [see it all day long, Ipod 99cents, fine print, for parts only, but some idiot buys it thinking they just scored then get all fussy when it arrives.]

Cause as to who's opnion will decide if the item is correct or not?
A computer that by default will rule against you or some min wage employee who will probably know nothing about items you may sell with no knowledge of what is normal or not.

"As of 11/01/10, your customers who pay with PayPal are protected for items they receive that are "significantly not as described". This means that you may be liable for the cost including the original shipping charges should they file a claim. However, by offering this protection, PayPal helps encourage customers to shop on your site.

We recommend that you make sure that photos and written descriptions on your site are as accurate as possible, to help avoid these types of claims.

The change to our buyer protection policy will take effect from November 1st, 2010 and won’t apply to transactions made before this date. "

I have already started to avoid that problem by selling my custom made parts as used, then note in the auction that they were custom made and never used, but are being sold as used.
