A Dirty Shade of Green
The Prius isn't as green as Toyota claims, according to a study that points out the dirty side of producing Prius battery packs. This shouldn't be shocking to anyone.
Add one more tally to the Toyota failboard. Autoblog reported. Discuss.

There was talk two years ago that their battery packs were not being recycled - nobody wanted them....so they were just "dissapearing" into the earth. They were designed with little regard for recycling, and no value.
Not sure if this has changed since 2008 though - |
