i love the 2010, it was/is an amazing car especially for year one back in production... but i have to say that all aspects of the camaro i find better in the GT500; though that's the way it should be, it's a much more expensive car.

i'd say the biggest differences are (to me, keep in mind: imo):

-electric steering (hydraulic in the camaro)
-full nav system (i like onstar but there are alot more options available in the mustangs unit)
-volume of the car (much smaller footprint if anything but in just feel)
-auto dual climate control
-interior refinement (to be expected though, the stangs how many years in continual production?)
-hp (obviously)
-short throw shifter
-ms sync
-window height (i can put my arm out the window more relaxed then previous)

that being said though, the things i miss the most:

-halo's (always loved those)
-telescoping steering wheel (would have been nice to move it up an inch or two)
-dic (no way to display digitally the speed on the mustang)
But what were you doing at the Ford dealer to begin with, if you were happy with the Camaro? Just asking

I suggest everybody take a chill pill...why these threads always need to get out of hand is beyond me.

It was a rhetorical question. Generally...it takes two sides to create an argument.

The irony here? People who are driving Camaro's saying that GT500's are too common.

Really? Thanks for the laugh, because thats a retarded statement.

Grats on the new ride! It is shameful that several members here cannot appreciate it. They seriously need to take the blinders off.

Bought my wife a GT500 in May and last month I traded my 1SS in on a 2011 GT and could not be happier. As much as I liked the Camaro, the Mustang just seems to do what I want better and for less money.

hello dark side... 2011 GT500 w/ Track Pack & NAV system in Race Red with White Track Pack Stripes (kinda like that combo...)

----

in the end, with 22k miles on the car and an offer of 33,100 on the table for something i paid 35,835 a year ago only owing 34,400 at the time of trade in... it was a no brainer.

i do miss "scarlet" but i hope in time that she'll end up in a loving owners hands, hopefully as much as my own were.

see ya guys in my rear view! (i kid, i kid!)
Obviously he picked the car for simple reasons... Its a GT500! I thought of it myself instead of a Z28 but I don't have the money anymore
I am happy with my 2010 IOM 2SS Camaro and my 2011 Mustang GT 305 Boss in KB

i was seriously considering a kona blue with white stripes gt500 as the ideal mustang to buy...

something about the red makes the volume of the car shrink in my eyes though, on the other hand kona is an amazing shade of blue.
