Am thinking black shirt, white tie, and slacks...its the only plain shirt I have! besides fancy grey, or orange!!

Buy a white or light gray plain shirt then. Not a huge expense, and you'll need it in the future too.

Black shirt/white tie would not be fitting for a court date.

Sorry - white on black is a "look at me" fashion statement, not a formal wear. It works great for semi-formal or formal PARTIES, but not for a court date.

I mean, wear it if you want. Just giving my honest opinion.
