Personally I think the only differences that should be there are the ones that show up when you stomp your right foot. Not because the V8 shouldn't have nice options, but because the V6 should have every option that the V8 has. I also think that the current 1SS and 2SS should be moved to 2SS and 3SS respectively, and they should make a 1SS that is as stripped as the LS (including steelies, though with 19 or 20 inch steelies to clear the brakes), for under 30k (maybe 28,995 because those 20 in alloys are probably expensive).

Wow, cool idea about that stripped down 1SS. Manual window cranks and all!

Maybe not THAT stripped down - I was just thinking it could use all the existing hardware from the LS model. No foglights, no power seats, etc.

I mean, if I could get one with manual windows I totally would! But I don't think it would be necessary to go to that extreme.

P.S. - Brando: LMAO @ the rice bowl in the hurst thread. I was thinking it, you were saying it. What would be the point of the knob without the kit to back it up?

No, manual windows wouldn't be feasible--they'd have design costs just to design them for the stripper model. I'd love to see some steel rallies on it like these:

Probably heavy as sin though... Then again, the stock 20's are crazy heavy too...

Thats one of the reasons I'm looking for some lightweight 18s for my V6.

Still leaning toward the Borbet XLs until I see word on the stock 1LT wheel weights...

I like the appearance of the stock 20's, but I'd want to put 315's on the back. I'd probably look into getting the stock rears widened...unless somebody decided to start making the concept wheels.

That, as they say, would rock.

Looks like it's just you and me X...and I'm out. Don't forget to turn the lights off when you're done.

I hear you though. I want 265s on all four corners. Should be enough for a V6 with a goal of about 400 horsepower or so.

P.S. - Later brando.
