yeah i was getting the bloody shins, still have a couple scabs i dont wanna re-open, that's why i went with pants....but i'll definitely look into the baby powder, good advice thanks

maybe you could put soccer type socks on so it covers your shins. add some short shorts and a head band too!

I don't compete nor have I ever. I've always wanted to, but never really pursued anything. I guess I workout because i love it.

Wanted to compete in Powerlifting or bodybuilding?

I've competed twice now in natural bodybuilding and one powerlifting meet, but that's it.. I suck at powerlifting meets lol. Squat and deadlift are good, but my bench sucks ass.

That's just it I don't know. I guess body building would have to be my first pick. However powerlifting wouldn't be bad either.

Man go for it! I love the challenge. I came in first teens division my first show, and 1st in men's middleweight my second show. That made it all worth it. I'm sure you could do excellently.

Haven't taken my bench over 450 in a long time due to an old elbow injury (radial head replacement). Tends to hurt at times when under heavy load. Honestly I haven't tried maxing dead lifts out.
