Thanks. Not bad for a woman that didn't touch a weight the first 38 years of her life!

She amazes me too and really inspires and helps me forge ahead. I've been lifting heavy for a long time and really since 2006 I've just been going through the motions. Yeah I was lifting heavy but really wasn't pushing and striving for anything. As much as I've helped Monique, she's helped me as much if not more.

Hitting the gym today. No major goals to kill. Just looking to get a good workout and look at as much eye candy as possible walking around. That will be all!

I guess you miss his photo... he's a beast! Pure muscle!

Guys I need advice! Since my shoulder wasn't bothering me to much I start hitting the gym again, I have a partner now so I was going harder than before, well today we did back and doing deadlift I use straps to pull more weight got to 315 on my 10 pull, you guess it, hurt my lower back! so any exercise to help improve my back? I'm giving a day to see if I get better if not I'm going to the doctor...

Your gym probably doesn't have one but with a bar, a reebok step, and a power rack you can rig up something to do some reverse hyperextensions. That and see a chiro...

Strong! You had more in you! And something little you can do that makes a difference is drop the pants and put some shorts on and put baby powder on the front of your legs.

You might be surprised when you bulk up it won't be as beneficial to your DL as it is to your bench and squat.

Proud of you! See you didn't need the straps after all

thanks! i never went that heavy (don't do 1rm's often) so when i went to pull i was shocked, i think i did have one more in me but played it on the safe side...

i always hated wearing pants, but how would that make a difference? Would shorts and high socks help or just baby powder? One more thing, I often see guys resetting (locking the legs then going back into position in between reps) how do you feel about that?

Pants create more friction going up the legs. Ideally you should drag the bar across your legs starting at your shin all the way to lockout. This is why many times at PL meets you see people with bloody shins. Yes to the shorts no to the high socks. Again the socks will create unnecessary friction. The baby powder helps to alleviate this friction. Watch this video of Kaz deadlifting. You will notice one his socks stop below the level of the bar and obviously he has baby powder on his thighs.

Don't know what the reasoning would be resetting.
