You'll notice the difference the moment you take a test drive in a Mustang or Challenger, trust me..
Can you post the same angle of the mustang?

knew the kit was coming.

Can't believe it will be offered up to 624hp. I was thinking around 550hp.

Looks like the 660HP TVS still has a warranty, like always, but the 750HP does not. Cool thing is the 750 kit comes with all the goodies installed like upgraded injectors, and does not have any hood fitment issues of other aftermarket 2.9's on the GT500.

What's the big deal

Crowley's sig says 600 RWHP with a blower and some simple mods.

No internal work to get more HP at the tire than Ford is offering at the crank.

I do not understand what the boogle is with some of you, the LS3 is a stout engine to begin with...why do you blue oval guys treat it like it's a second rate pile of sh*t?

Looks like slightly more glass area, but surely not earth shattering.

The photo's have to be taken of the same distance (look how much larger the camaro seat is compared to the other picture), where your head is located so you can see the difference more clearly. I'll take a picture when I have time at the same angle. It is not just slightly more glass area. It is a much smaller pillar coupled with larger rear glass area in the mustang that allows you to see traffic on the road when you are backing up into a busy street. I've backed up into many streets before and I always had to hold my breath when doing so with the Camaro more times than I can remember.

I don't think anyone in this thread is treating the LS3/L99 as a second rate pile of shit.

The LS series of engines are the best small blocks built in the world for mass production. The entire LS series of engines have been great.

I think most people are wanting GM to offer these packages and offer at least one that doesn't void your warranty.

The thing that gets me though is that at 7 lbs they are rating the first kit at 525hp. And at 9 lbs they are rating it at 624. I doubt 2 lbs of boost is worth 99 rwhp.

I appreciate the statements you've just made

I'd just like to hear them a little more often that's all.

I'm not sure how long Ford's warranty is, but if it's like GM offers, you still take a hit on your warranty by cutting it down to 12/12,000 with this kit. At that point you may as well cross over into the aftermarket kits.

But yes, you are correct...it is very cool what Ford offers up!

I'm willing to bet ya that the 7psi tune is VERY safe....once you kick up to 9 psi I'll bet ya the wick gets turned up on the tune, which is why the warranty goes bye bye!
