Yeah.........and then we get the post ho's here that must post about absolutely nothing.

I wasn't talking about Randy

Yes, once a week threads like, "How many miles?" "What do you do?" and "Young Camaro Owners??"

Why have a forum if we can't discuss it.

I've seen attacks for necroing a topic, attacks for starting a new one, attacks for not searching etc............ Some are legit but let the mods handle that. If you don't like seeing re-posted info then you better just turn your internet off.

Uh oh, PQ, judging by your Avatar, I'm assuming your giving up????

And yeah, I think it takes just as much time to answer the question as it does to puff up ones chest and make a noob feel like dog sh*t for not using the search function!!!! Just answer the question or move on to another thread!!! I thought that's what a friendly Forum (community) is supposed to be about!!!!!!!

For the season, yes.

And that's a good point. OR..... even LESS time to just click out of the thread.

On the really redundant and super simple ones I got no problem with a polite "If you search for the term you'll find it really easy" and then answer the question or give the info. But I never did like the Falcon Punch Search Smiley to a noob.

I think the average age of our members has come down significantly since I have been watching this board. I have lurked around since before the 2010 was on the road, but only joined when I decided to buy. The younger crowd is all well and good. With it comes a level of excitement, inquisitiveness and impatience though. That's well and fine too. The younger crowd also brings along a different perspective on some subjects that is very valuable

This thread was a good idea OP. Give the folks who have been around C5 a while a place to talk about it. Personally, hte repeat threads don't bother me. I just smile. I responded to threads like "What did you name your car?" & "How old are you & what do you do" the first 2 or 3 times I saw them then I just stopped clicking on them..........that is unless I am really bored & there is nothing else I want to read/respond to in C5.

It takes even less time to copy and paste the link to the earlier thread to point the OP in the right direction.

Bunch of whiners here, people whine and complain too much these days, and always worrying about the next guy, or feeling it's necessary to correct everyone about everything! It's a frickin' Camaro forum here, people ask questions, tell stories, show pics, etc..... blah blah blah! If you don't like a topic, then don't click on it, move on oh that's my .03 cents, because tht's one more than .02 so that makes me smarter.

I'm on a gun forum and everytime someone posts a similar thread about 10 people scream "dupe(duplicate post)" and they lock the thread. Annoying as hell.

Haa I pulled a noob move, but the search did not help. I posted a thread asking whats up with all the noobs posting questions that have been asked over and over. Or more common recently. People e being lazy asking for everyone to post pictures of this or that in that thread... there are TONS of pictures here just start going through threads right click save then you can go back and look at them any time you want. To my defense search dd not work well for this specific topic. I have found Google works wonders to search Camaro5 usually the first 5 hits are directed to this forum.

its a forum....searching isnt always easy and doesnt come up with exactly what someone is looking for, regardless of whether a question was already asked or not I give the person the best answer i can with my knowledge, i hate the "go search" bs, we are all here to help one another with these awesome cars.

welcome new people and give them some congrats on buying a 5th gen...im sure all of you were at some point just as excited as they were about getting such an incredible machine. let them ask what exhaust or CAI, that's why we are here...we all asked the same things at some point.

That's a cool word "necroing". Do you mean returning to the dead postings, or do you mean delving into dead thoughts from the past?
