Xbox 360 vs. PS3?

anyone that thinks the PS3 OR Xbox is a POS or sucks is a moron and needs to get a life. they are both good systems. I prefer the PS3. I hate the Xbox controller, but thats all personal opinion.

the $500 PS3 actually comes with a 160gb harddrive. the Xbox Elite is only 120.


the extra $100 you will spend on the $400 PS3 over the xbox is well worth it for the integrated blue ray, IMO.

as far as game quality, there are PLENTY of high quality games for the PS3. more than I have time to play. There aren't that many platform specific games anymore, at least not like there used to be. I'm one of the few who is not a halo fan and could care less about it.

I vote PS3.

im assuming you dont realize that the ps3 games are blu-ray discs as well, so its not like they made the ps3 and then added the blu-ray player. it has to play the movies to play the games, thats just how it works. saying that the ps3's ability to play blu-rays isnt as good as a stand alone player is just ignorant, they both work the same way.

as for the triggers being great for racing games, i understand the range of motion aspect, but its a video game, no need to be percise, at least i dont think so

and for games, GOW sucked, Halo is ok, and the forza franchise, they have what 2 games, it not even as good as GT and i still think Grid is the best racing game ive ever played

racing without feathered throttle inputs wouldn't exactly be very realistic....

also find it funny that people think the bluray player in the ps3 sucks. since bluray came about the ps3 has always ranked #1 or #2 in every test for bluray players until recently (like last couple months)

I am stuck between 2 games little big planet vs fallout 3

little big planet is a ps3 exclusive a lot of my friends say its really fun . ign gave it a 9.5



fallout 3 is made by the people who made oblivion and it takes place in a post apocalyptic world and it is like obivion like guns ign gave it a 9.4

Ive got both the PS3, and 360...Ive played my PS3 once in the last 3 months. the gaming experience as a whole is much better and the game selection is great on 360. PS3 Is pretty much my bluray player...and I friggin hate the PS controller...the left analog really needs to be moved!...any ways there are some titles that Im waiting for on my PS3 but if its multiplatform I always buy XBOX[

I use my PS3 for blu-ray movies only. I play all games on 360.

Right now the 360. Make sure you get the Elite. No heat malfunctions on that model. I had two of the base model. The originall was replaced by the factory abd teh second was giving me the same issue as the old one so I traded it on the elite before I got the red ring of death.

I guess Im a lucky one...I still have my original and Ive had no issues at all !

Yea im actually on my 4th xbox right now but they were all given to me by warrany, it has 3 years of warranty on the most common problem you'll get if it gets a problem which is the 3 red rings and i think they have fixed that problem a bit more i haven't heard of many problems with that back when it came out in 2005-2006 1 out of 4 had that problem unlucky me i got the 4/4 chance that it would mess up but i have had no problems with my 4th one becuase like i said they have improved it. and even after 4 times breaking i still didn't get a ps3. Microsoft was made by an american sony was made by some asian guy its like trading your camaro for a corrolla and thats a no no.
