silly gooses getting fooled by that, the ftc would have to review any merger of this size. that could take weeks.

I think their world dominance of the automotive industry is inevitable.

Call me superstitious, but I would invest in anything whose initials are shared with killed in action

Hopefully they will drop this merger discussion now that the market seems to be coming back, lets hope it continues!

I agree.

Remember the commercial where that dumbass yells "Hey! That thing got a hemi?" Update it to put the same dumbass in a Camaro SS, Mr. Hemi in a Challenger, and add one line: Maniacal laughter as he drops the hammer and leaves Mr. hemi sitting at the light. That'd be a GREAT Chevy commercial!

I rather them share technology then merge.... hmmm

Lets talk about merge for a second............

I see them sharing technology, engines, and frames

but who will have more power over each other

It's never good to merge two companies who are both in debt. Usually one who is above water will merge with another one because it's basically "buying" the brand at a cheap price and restructuring it so it's profitable. Kind of like buying a crappy house and fixing it up for profit. That's not the case with GM and Chrysler, so I'm not sure what they're thinking. Two companies in debt and losing money fast coming together makes one company that is REALLY in debt and losing money REALLY fast.
