I'm very happy with the quality of my paint, and it's been quite durable from a nose-getting-chips point of view. I have only two TINY (like I need my glasses to see them) speck/chips on the front of my car after 15K miles. No irregularities to report elsewhere. 2011 GT500.
I have no experience with Camaro paint. My '06 GTO was pretty chip-prone on the nose, but that got squirted in Australia...

lol you must be new. Syntax. Anyway, a 30K+ car produced in 2010 should not have most of these issues out of the factory. But obviously they do. Like I said before, its embarrassing for many manufacturers. But passable for them. 95% people/customers don't even know what they are looking at |

Anyone know if one of the premium paint options that costs an additional $325 is any more durable?

I was discussing my car last night with my father who I showed the chipping paint to and his reply was to sale it as fast as I could because he knows I'll fixate on the stone chips and never be happy with the car. I'm considering it. 1540 miles, and jaded by Chevy to the point of considering taking a few thousand dollar hit and running for a Boss or GT500.

The 03 Terminator in the garage beside the camaro has 22,000 miles on it... And might have 2 stone chips. We can go over the list of my 8 vehicles with minimal to no stone chips again, but to some of you it will not matter... You'll keep making excuses for the shoddy quality that GM gave you and you'll claim it's the same across the board for all brands. Yet, the 2011 Lexus with 4,800 miles has not a single mark, the 2011 Malibu has 33,000 miles and there are 4-5 chips.... Blah...blah...blah...

I traded for a 2012 model for the savings I made, the 13's are nice but I have no second thoughts about it. My first mod was a exhaust the second day I had it and next week or so ill have the GT500 rear spoiler on it then ill take some pics.

Nobody likes losing money, but sometimes if you have or make enough money... Your willing to lose an acceptable amount to rid yourself of the issue that gets your goat. I'm very lucky to have a great job in a time of bad economy. That said, I'm on the fence here, I still want to love the car.
