Agree on that. Good luck making your decision... Take a look at a GTO or even a used G8. They both scream and you may be able to get a great deal on one...

A v8 will always respond better to mods then a v6. Even with a tune. Thats just how it is. And you owning a v8 you should know that. I'm sure you got your v8 for the power And larger aftermarket world Same reason I'm getting the GT.
i bought the ss because i was raised owning a 69 gto, 83 trans am.. so forth..

and i saw a few llt's there (silver and red) run low 14's.. one on slicks and stock ran 13.7.

my ss stock ran a 12.980.. so i guess i'm in professional class now cuz i haven't seen many people do better than a 13.0

and i will also say this not being rude..

the 4.6 ford modular.. is a bad motor when modified.. i've seen SO many of them blow to pieces on even a header / intake swap..

my one friend rod is a good example.. 3 engines in 10k miles.

and i learned.. ls3's have lifter failures too.. lol

What about a 06-09 Impala SS? It has a V8 and would kick the crap out of that mustang!

buy the V6 and prove you can make the payments, after a yr or so upgrading to a V8 will go over easy.

They do but its much more common to see them in a v6. I see maybe 1 or 2 girls in a GT a year. Which is sexy to me seeing a girl driving an 8
